Ingredients

  • ½ cup Vanilla Premier Protein Plus Fiber Powder
  • 1½ cups almond flour
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup almond butter can sub for any nut or seed butter of choice
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • Optional Toppings: chopped pecans and caramel

Directions

  1. Line a 9 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Vanilla Premier Protein Plus Fiber Powder, almond flour, sugar, and spices.
  3. Add almond butter, maple syrup, and applesauce and mix well. Batter will be sticky but slightly crumbly.
  4. Scoop batter into lined baking dish and spread evenly; press down firmly to the edges.
  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  6. Remove from refrigerator and cut into bars.
  7. Top with chopped pecans and drizzle with caramel, if desired.
