Ingredients
- ½ cup Vanilla Premier Protein Plus Fiber Powder
- 1½ cups almond flour
- ½ cup coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup almond butter can sub for any nut or seed butter of choice
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- Optional Toppings: chopped pecans and caramel
Directions
- Line a 9 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together Vanilla Premier Protein Plus Fiber Powder, almond flour, sugar, and spices.
- Add almond butter, maple syrup, and applesauce and mix well. Batter will be sticky but slightly crumbly.
- Scoop batter into lined baking dish and spread evenly; press down firmly to the edges.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove from refrigerator and cut into bars.
- Top with chopped pecans and drizzle with caramel, if desired.
