Take Advantage of the Weather

Exercising outside feels like a lot less work, especially if you’re doing something you enjoy. Take advantage of the cool crisp air and go out to enjoy a hike or bike ride. Just make time each week to get outside!

Layer Up

Temperatures are going to start dropping over the next month. When exercising outside in the crisp air, keep this in mind and layer your clothing. Before your body warms up, you may feel chilly at first, but once the blood gets pumping, your body will quickly warm up. For those cold morning runs, wear a hat, it will help keep your head warm!

Include Workouts You Can Do at Home

The days are getting shorter and the holiday seasons are coming. This makes it harder for some of us to keep our daily workout routine. Now it’s time to find an alternative that works for you. Try a 30- day exercise challenge — think living room aerobics. Or you can watch a fun fitness video that will get you moving!

Exercise Early

Try to work out in the morning or during the day. With the sun setting earlier, it makes it feel later than it actually is. For some of us, it can make us more tired and just want to curl up in bed. Getting up and working out early will get your workout out of the way and still allow time to relax later in the day.

Spice Up Your Fitness Routine
